Dimitrios Kavvathas

Dr. Kavvathas serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Harmony Advisors Limited, a Hong Kong SFC licensed multi-family office and asset manager. He joined in June 2016, responsible for Harmony’s discretionary investment mandates, which include an in-house multi-strategy hedge fund, managed accounts, private equity and alternatives.

Dr. Kavvathas earned his BSc. in Economics in 1995 as valedictorian from the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He was awarded the PhD in Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago in 2001.

Subsequently, Dr. Kavvathas joined Goldman Sachs in London in 2001. He was promoted to Managing Director in 2005 and was invited to join the partnership in 2008. He retired as a Partner in 2013, having served in a variety of senior positions including as co-Head of Asia Pacific Securities Division Distribution (FICC, Equities, Corporate Origination Sales & Structuring) and Goldman Sachs (Asia). In addition, as part of his responsibilities, Dr. Kavvathas served on the Asia Pacific Securities Division Operating Committee, the Asia Pacific Risk Committee, the Global Firmwide New Activity and Asset & Liability Committees as well as the Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC Board of Directors

Dr. Francesco Adiliberti, serves as the President of Nomisma Holdings and Chief Executive Officer of Nomisma (Liechtenstein) AG. He is responsible for the firm’s MTF operations.

He also served as a Managing Director and Head Investment Advisory at HSBC in Switzerland.

Joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2008. Between 2001 and 2013 he served as Head of the Goldman Sachs International Representative Office in Switzerland, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pension Fund of Goldman Sachs Bank AG and Head of the Swiss Private Investor Product Group (PIPG), a team advising institutional clients on cross asset derivative solutions. This valuable experience will be used to build up Nomisma platform in a similar way.

Prior to joining Nomisma as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kuper was a Managing Director at the Deutsche Boerse Group, responsible for Strategic opportunities and synergies across the Deutsche Boerse Group, and new market infrastructure platforms and technologies.

Before joining Deutsche Boerse Group, Mr. Kuper had a 16-year career with Goldman Sachs International, most recently as Trustee of the Goldman Sachs UK Retirement Plan, Member of Pension Investment Committee, Member of Finance Committee, and Co-Head of EMEA Equity and Fund Derivatives Institutional Structuring.

Mr. Barry joined SCB in 2009 and was based in Singapore where he managed the legal and compliance teams for various business units, before taking on the Group Head of Compliance role and moving to the U.K. At SCB, Mr. Barry was an executive member of the Board Audit Committee, the Board Financial Crime Risk Committee, as well as a member of the Group Risk Committee, the Group Financial Crime Risk Committee, the Group Operational Risk Committee, the Remuneration Adjustment Committee, and chair of the Compliance Regulatory Risk Committee. Prior to joining SCB, Mr. Barry worked for Citigroup, in both Japan and New York. Most recently, he was the General Counsel of the Citigroup’s International Retail Bank. Mr. Barry graduated with a BA in History and Political Science from Vanderbilt University, a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Case Western Reserve School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from NYU.
